Annapurna Base Camp Trekking

Annapurna Base Camp Trekking Nepal, Nepal Annapurna Sanctuary ...Life in Nepal is teeming with excitement and interest. The people, the architecture, the cultures, the scenery: all a fantastic wake up call for the senses. From the moment you arrive in Kathmandu you are greeted with streets filled with life and adventure – as if arriving on the set of an Indiana Jones movie! On the trek you will experience variety and beauty in both the landscapes you walk through and in the peoples you meet along this classic Himalayan trekking route. This is a tea house trek, basic but the best hospitality you will find anywhere.Nepal Trekking, Annapurna Base Camp trek, (also known as the Annapurna Sanctuary) is arguably the most intensely scenic trek in Nepal. From the Annapurna Base Camp the towering peaks of Annapurna I (8091m), Annapurna South (7273m), Annapurna Fang (7647m), and Machhapuchhare (6997m) bathed in snow set the scene as one of the most spectacular mountain settings in the Himalayas. Whatever you forget – don’t forget the camera!

This is one of the classic and most rewarding treks in Nepal which circles the Annapurna massif. It has been most popular trek in Nepal since it is opened to foreign trekkers in 1977. It offers spectacular mountain scenery and it goes to the north of the main Himalayan range on the high and dry Tibetan plateau. The circuit is usually walked in a counter clockwise direction because of difficulties crossing the Thorung La. For most of the trek, we have close views of Annapurna, Dhaulagiri, and the magnificent Machhapuchahre(Fishtail).
