Easy trekking by Himalayan standards is generally between 900m and 2000m. There are always plenty of ‘ups and downs’ on well-maintained trails. Clients need to be regular walkers to get full enjoyment from their experience. It is possible however to design easier short three to four days trek with perhaps only two to four hours walking per day on request.

Moderate
It involves Easy to Moderate trekking between 900m and 3000m but possibly involving side trips to higher elevations.

Moderate to Strenuous
Reasonably demanding trekking at altitudes up to 4,000m with side trips to higher elevations. Some treks included ill-defined mountain well away from villages.

Strenuous
This type of trip are demanding nature requiring all participants to be fit and excellent health, as it involves moderate walk to physically challenging often in remote alpine areas and sometimes reaching altitudes in access of 5500m and are more suited to regular hill-walkers who are competent over difficult terrain. Here we also include all Tibet trips.

Alpine
Extremely demanding treks sometimes in very remote areas on rough terrain, long walking days and use of main or fix ropes in few places. Participants should be in very good physical condition and have at least a basic knowledge of the use of crampons and ice axe will be advantage. Crossing of snow glaciers and high passes are common in this category of trek.
